The tumor is removed surgically, microscopic examination shows elongated bipolar astrocytes with fibrillary processes and Rosenthal fibers.

2) A 38-year-old man presents to his general practitioner (GP) complaining of a painless lump on the right side of his neck. This has been present for about 2 months and seems to be enlarging. He has had no recent throat infections. He has been feeling generally unwell and has loss about 5kg in weight. The patient has also developed drenching night sweats. Simultaneously he has noticed severe generalized itching. He has had no significant past medical history.

3) A 24-year-old man presents to an emergency department complaining of a severe headache. The headache started 24 hour previously and has rapidly become more intense. He describes the headache as generalized in his head. He has vomitted twice and appears to be developing drowsiness & confusion. He finds bright lights uncomfortable. There is no significant previous medical history or history of allergy. On examination, he looks flushed and unwell. His temperature is 39.2 degree celcius (mcmana nak wat 'degree' kat blog ni?xpandai..sape pandai. ajar ye..huhu) He has stiffness on passive flexion of his neck.
